Pedagogical Approaches made possible by Technology
Active Learning:
This approach is student-centered. Instructors facilitate a learning environment whereby students engage in the learning process by interacting and reflecting.
Authentic Assessment:
Projects and products that have meaning in the real world are set up for students to develop, enabling them to demonstrate a meaningful application of their knowledge or skills.
Flipped Classroom
This model is a blended learning model in which students are introduced to the content outside the classroom. Viewing videos, videoed lectures, listening to audio, engaging with educational websites etc... can be the starting point.
