Finger Painting |
Plastic tablecloth, acrylic paint, wallpaper glue (or make your own flour and water glue), heavy paper, small containers for paint mixes, paper towels |
Use a flat surface (cover with plastic covering). In a small container, mix a small amount of glue with one color. You can choose a color scheme if desired. Kids use fingers to paint on their paper. Fun, and messy! |

Kids usually enjoy painting. Cover your table with a plastic cloth, provide paints and a palette of some sort, and allow kids to paint. You may wish to consult a YouTube video to learn different techniques. |

Take kids out for a walk where each person picks up interesting objects. These objects could be litter, leaves, sticks, cicada shells, etc... When you get home, arrange the objects on paper or card and glue them into position. Frame in 3D frame if desired. |

Go for a walk with children and have them take pictures of interesting items. Encourage kids to take photos at different angles. At home, load the photos into a graphics program and allow kids to play with the photos: light, color, cropping, etc... They can make a slideshow presentation of their finished products. |
